Automotive Environments - Volvo

Exploring a real time rendering pipeline in Unreal for automotive product renders. The aim for this project was to push Unreal to it's limits and explore photoreal environments for automobile promotional materials. All environment modeling, materials and lighting are done in Unreal. Experimented with different shaders, post-process and camera effects to enhance the realism and push the intrigue in the shots.

Sushi Ben (VR Game) : Vehicle Models

Sushi Ben is an open world VR game in production that takes you, the player, on a journey of moving into a small town. The town's main attraction is a sushi restaurant that centers the gameplay. The game takes a 2D aesthetic and being based in VR it requires quite low-poly models.

Vermeer's Room

This is my version of Johannes Vermeer's room and is based of his paintings; mainly the 'Piano Lesson'.

John's Interview: Tall Boss Character Model

Tall Boss is supposed to be an archetype of a stubborn perfectionist manager that does everything by the book. He is very respectful of the chain of command and therefore is always by short boss’ side. The character design was based on a lot of the culturally popular corporate figures such as Ego from Ratatouille and David Wallace from The Office. Tall boss as a result was designed with quite exaggerated proportions to do justice to his name and stature. Though very stubborn we didn’t want him to be very intimidating and dominate the screen since he is in fact second in command. As a result over the drafts Tall boss becomes quite slender and also a bit younger to make the hierarchy in positions even more evident.
